ruxi hi everyone! I also have this type of phone and so far it's worked fine. a problem appeared when I bought a data cable which was originally designed for alcatel ot 535/735. the vendor is sure that the cable is compatible with ot556 too. do you know about any software I may be missing and which could help me?

Dragos I downloaded the JavaLoader but when i try to update Content Manager it says "This Release of JavaLoader is not compatible with the installed ContentManager". I have ver 3.37 (last) and Java Loader is 3.36 (last???). That's plain stupid.

dan I am still having the issue with the sound. I installed the software provided by Alcatel to transfer informations between the phone and the computer. The link is http://www.my-onetouch.com/PCSuite3.60.rar It'a a 70Mega rar file and you need a infrared device (built in computer or USB IRDA). Check to be sure the IRDA device is supporting this phone model. Not all the USB IRDA are working with this phone.
