Zohaib this is for u vampire, u do not need to activate the infra red just activate the infra red of another mobile and connect with i jam then i-jam automatically detect the infra of other mobile & u can send material as beam file
Emmanuel hai, iam using an imate jam.i would like to know whetehr i can store songs ever more compressed than MP3.and video files also in compressed format.if there is any software ware and if you would let me know, i would really appreciate that.also i would like to know whether there is Wi-Fi facillity in this phone.then the battery goes down very soon, is there any solution for the battery issue.is there any audio and video softwares known which is best for this phone.i like the phone.to be honest its a sexy phone, the video clarity is fine.the sound is fine but not as good as sony ericcson.but overall IMATE is fine i like it.

danish you can put mp3 as ringtone juz copy the file then go into da windows folder in there ull see a file name as rings paste it there then go in ur phone settings then select it frm there as a ring tione
Ck Dr Emad Darwish. You can download the latest operating system from the club.imate.com. I hope that will solve your problem. But do have a backup copy of all the documents.
And for Updating the operating system in JAM.i wonder what will happen if you install XP on Pentium 1. Iam talking about the performence. Ofcourse the Jam harhware does not support WM5.

benaboud the batterie of my i-mate jam dropped. i put it in charge and i'm having only the screen as follow:
