if u r trying to compare sound quality through external speakers, then surely W550 will beat E2.
but dont even think that W550 will beat E398 too. E398 has one of the best sound ever produced through external speakers. i own E398 myself and i have compared its sound to every walkman phones. If u dont believe come and listen to its sound from my mobile. its surprising that u had E398 and still you r telling this. maybe u havent utilized the full potential of E398.
