<unknown> For me, I dropped it a few times then after a while...the whole screen went all white and blanked out on me. The phone still works but I cannot see anything that happens. :(

<unknown> i noticed one post claimed we're all talking about the same phone but my friend got this phone months ago and it came with the CD and data cable and when I got this one, the default setting is in chinese as were the keys and manual. What's the difference between these two?

Mihai I think I'm one of the veterans in using a v878 (I have mine since FEBRUARY 2004!!!). A few more months and it's gonna turn 2 years old. So far I've had no problems with it whatsoever (nothing I've read on this site has ever happened to my piece) and, as I've said before, I guess the first pieces that came out on the market were way better manufactured than the ones following. I've dropped my piece a lot of times really hard, I've spilled water on it, I even sat on it while it was open :))). It had a rough life with me, but it's still my champion hehe! I'm satisfied with the way it's functioning, but of course, it's a phone that is starting to get old in looks and features. But still, the good thing is that even after almost two years of usage, the battery life is exactly the same: 2 days and the night in between. Since I'm a Motorola fan, I'm looking forward for the E1120 to finally come out on the market though. That's gonna be my next phone for sure! That's about it. I'm sorry for the guys that had a hard time with their v878 pieces.
Shane I just got the phone in the mail and its the best phone I have ever had. For it being so out of date, the technology is great and I have had no problems. One of motorolas best!
<unknown> HI , after 2 months of using it, I can't seem to charge the battery.Once I charge the phone, it looks like the battery is charging , but once I unplug the charger the battery dies....anyone else w similar problems..?
jon the phone might look good, but it's a piece of junk, connnection is extremely poor i have to weight like at least 10 secs to dial my call. and phone always break down on it... only good thing about the phone is that it never break on me when i accidently dropped a few time on the floor..
