NEC DB5000 Review
frank Hi, I am an owner of a db5000 and I am totally fed up with the reception of this phone. It is so bad that my matrix phone(banana phone from nokia)which has a broken antenna even recepts 2 bars while the db5000 has no service. I am wondering if anyone else is also suffering from this dilemma or is it just this particular phone

Tonza If you like Nokia functions forget it - this phone is not for you. The Message function is clumsy and the composer poor. However, the buttons have a great feel to them and the address book is good too. The 7 color LED is an excellent feature too.
When I bought this phone I was gonna trade it back in for a Nokia8250. I'm glad I didn't. The battery life is great. It just takes a little longer to like... get to know it and you and the DB5000 will be best mates for a long time.
