M hi i am using n840 and cannot play 3gpp files. is there any limitation and where i can make 3gp files from wmv or other video formats? thanks
Answers In order for your phone to recognize MP3 songs, you MUST use the provided USB cable to download the files to the miniSD card. If you use a miniSD/SD card reader to transfer MP3 songs to the miniSD card, then the NEC N840 phone will not recognize the MP3 files.
I can send/receive messages via this phone, so I do not know specifically as to why someone is unable to use this function. It works just fine for me. Check your local cell phone carrier.

DavyJ, don't mess up this forum with your anti N840 posts... The n840 is better than the M900 and you know it.. (mitsu suck against NEC as a whole aniway) there is next to no phyical difference between the CMOS cam and the CCD cam it's even rumored to be better than the 902's CCD sensor... and btw how would you like it if we started messing up the m900 forum???
