Hardy My First mobile - Dropped it 180m of a tower and although the housing broke (eailsy replaced) the phone was in perfect condition!!!!! LOL
Abra This was an excellent phone. I had it for about 5 years and I'm sure it would've lasted longer if I hadn't dropped it so often. It had great battery, good signal, easy menus. It got me hooked on Nokia products.

Masyong Im a celphone technician... I believe this is Nokia's most durable phone. I wish they can design a new phone with the toughness of 5110.
Blondie thats very funny simon....i wonder if i can access the 3G network on it, you never know...i love my 5110, but its broked (lol, broke ed) and i can only use it when its plugged into the wall outlet...it still works, believe it or not...its very amusing, just like my other phone, the only thing is that it happens to be an LG U8180...not a nokia.......i miss my taking mine to work everyday....do you remember when it first came out...(was it really '98 thought it was earlier, meh) and every1 was raving about it, like da 3G phones now and every1 wanted 'em and i used 2 take mine 2 work and see ppl with phones that had no clocks, like da 2110 or sumthing i still got dat 1 aswell... and you'd show-off that you had a cool phone......i dare you to do that now, go up to a dude on a video call, (gotta be a hot dude 2...mmmmmmm, oops, anyway) and tell him that your 5110 is much better than his tinny old "3" phone....hehehhe...see what he does to you...(nothing 2 rough...lol)
Owen That's right! best phone in the world. have it since 1998 and already threw it on purpose because my professor pissed me off 5 yrs ago. but its still working upto now =).

jigs i just got the phone now!!! shoot, this rocks! call me old school, but i had N70 and all the good fones, but hell, when i found this fone which was left in the cab, i found a treasure!!!!
I need to get out mo Does anyone know where I can get one of these bad phones from. I heard you can pick them up for the same price as a 8800 at phones4u? I have had my last one since 98 and use it mainly as a home phone as I never go out, can anyone recommend a more updated version of this phone?
