Ed Oh, yes - one thing more - you never know the battery level - it shows quite full, and thn in one minute falls down to 2 bars or "battery low". But you can get in swing. More or less..
hiedo hey, i agree with u (Johnny-C ), nokia should make the 6100i, without change the size, just add a radio, better display, GPRS class 10 and don't remove the infrared,coz it's very usefull since the bluetooth iz too expensive..
Johnny-C I suggest Nokia to make a 6100i with more colors and a little camera:P.This phone it's great.

Pradyumna A very handy phone having simple and useful features. Not a status phone. Is affordable but now not seen very often in the market. Is very hardy and dependable. Has a good battery and a very good speaker and ear piece considering the small size of the phone. Operation is satisfactory. GPRS browser speed is ok if you are browsing in a relatively open environment. Memory is less if the user wants to download huge files. Otherwise its not a problem at all. Resolution is ordinary but satisfactory. Battery charging is quick if you use original Nokia Charging Equipment. Ringtones, Alarm & message tones are loud and clear. Overall a very good & simple phone.

shiver this phone brings back memories, it was my first real phone that i love and spent quite heavily on, before that i used a motorola cd 928, then ericson t28, then nokia 3310 and finally to the 6100 from april 03 till june 30th 2006. best phone i ever had! everyone wanted it, its a sexy phone and everyone was amazed how small it is.function wise, it was the best at that time (first few colour phones in the market) took care of it for two years and then began dropping it quite a lot from last year 2005 till recently and it began to spoil (never before that ) the vibration spoiled, ring tone konked etc. but i love that phone. even with camera, bluetooth, 3G, i still miss my 6100. i now use 6233, but i still think of my sexy 6100. someone said, dont ever sell it you will regret it, i know what u mean! it has sentimental feelings. if u want a simple phone in today's market, well HIGHLY recommended!
