Nokia 6233 Review
Miracles I like this phone but the battery seems to be a downfall. Is tht true? Correct me if i'm wrong.

Jasper I love it. I got the silver one through O2 and was worried it wouldn't look as good as the black or white versions, but it looks very classy, feels solid, and is as fast at everything as the 6230i was (after having a series 60 phone for a short time, series 40 rocks).
My only issue is with Nokia PC suite. I can't get it to work at all. I can use the phone in data storage mode no problems to move data around, but every time I try to backup the phone I get an error. This always happened with the 6230, too, though, so I may have a dodgy cable. I'll try the bluetooth.
Does the movie player play mpeg2? I haven't found any that will play on it. Do they need to be the right resolution?
I got a 1 gig card, and have no problems with speed of data access etc.
Rudy This phone is great and tough, thrown the phone to the wall b4, 2 x infact.... had only light scratches n dented to the metal frame, went back to nokia to get it replaced at $48++. and it still working fine
Indiboy Its a very good fone. I love it.
A few questions friends, if you can answer them;
Will the 1Gb micro sd card slow down the fone or create any other problems? I am using the 64mb one provided with the fone. So deciding whether to buy 1Gb card or 512mb.
My 6233 tends to heat up a bit while playing around/ scanning around with the fone. Any other 6233 users having the same prob? .

<unknown> I'm having trouble getting the java programs to connect to the internet. I can browse webpages via wap over gprs and send / recieve MMS via gprs, but I can't get the java programs to use gprs, which is bad since I have opera mini on it and a msn client. If someone can help, please tell!
ruthie James.. I think you need a smart phone to be able to use GPS on it, i also have a 6630 using tom tom but that is it a smart phone. As far as i'm aware this isnt a smart phone so you wont be able to get a gps sat nav (if thats what you meant) on it?

3.6233 is not using symbian os, but what os they are using? is that gud than symbian?
