Nokia 6708 Review
<unknown> Hey i've used the 6708 for a couple of months and sold in a low price just to get rid of it. It's a totally bad phone and it didn't impress me at all. I totally like touchscreens and like the latest technology. But 6708 is a real pain in the neck. Its interface is totally complicated and using it is a complete mess. You have to refer to the manual even for just simple functions. It looks quite impressive at first but you might trash it once you started to use it. I'm even wondering if nokia really made this. I'm using the N90 right now and I find it to be a lot better. SORRY!

Komadori I am planning to buy this revolutionary unit from nokia really soon. I have asked many retailers already about a certain feature and still they haven't answered my query.
To those who already own the Nokia 6708, i would like to know if though the keypad is not T9 capable, does it have an on-screen keyboard (just like in palm devices)if i choose not to use the handwriting recognition feature of the phone?

SOMU i read your mail and my experience is that you don't need to worry for the key pad as it is there , alternate to hand writing.

<unknown> i bought this phone 2 days back.its a complete wastage of money.
1. camera is bad
2. touch screen is not good as other touchscreen phones
3. the stylus tip is very thick so it is very difficult to tap on the right place(specially when writing sms on keyboard)
4. the hand writing recoganisation is also bad and takes a lot of time identifing what is written
5. no scrol button on side
6. very slow processing speed

If you don't need camera,why did't you use no camera smartphone like E60/61 or SE M600 (in case you will touchscreen)? They are more new.

I have been using ths fone for almost a month now..Itz circus material..it acts funny most of the time..well removin da battery n puttin it bck solves da problem..so letz not rack our brains on dat..
