Nokia E60 Review
stylinexpat This phone has two major problems or issues as someone reported in the E61 Forum. The contacts has a bug in it and the other issue is the WLAN issue of always being on and searching for WLAN all day long! This phone can easily catch bugs and viruses with the WLAN feature always on and draining battery as well. The Contacts issue is a major problem as well. Don't believe me then try Sunchronizng this device with your Microsoft Outlook and if you have more then 100 contacts you will be in for a big surprise! Every contact will take forever to open up and the device becomes as slow as a snail. I bought my deivce in Dubai and am in Hong-Kong now. Nokia in Hong-Kong wants $420 H.K.D. to service the device as this is the minimum charge and $100 H.K.D. to have the software reinstalled!! $520 H.K.D. just to get the same software reinstalled in it with no update for a Problem that exists from the software its self! I hope everyone here complains to Nokia to get this issue resolved. The new Nokia N73 and E61 has the same problem with the Symbian being slow as well.

My E60 is Western European version, and it has Potugal language, as well as Portugal T9 dictionary.
H As far as I can see Nokia has posted E series fw upgrade. I will check it out this evening when back home from the desk.
Vick Hi...There don't seem to be any shortage of memory/ram while using the phone, though I'm running many application on the back ground. Very good stability so far!
daniela can anyone be kind enuf to tel me if i cud install symbian softwares (.sis)files in E60 as i did i nokia 6600 .... also can i watch movies in fullscreen.....can i install games in E60 through memory card ... pls help

I am in Australia and just bought a E60. When I tried to install the software updater, it says there is no latest update for my phone. The firmware that is currently on my phone is 1.0610.02.15 12-04-06.
Any ideas?

The sound quality is good for speaker phone, PLEASE NOTE - this phone is not made for playing MP3s.... you cant compare.
