O2 XDA IIs Review
Mo Ok guys,
Where shall we start....
Dan - hold down the green telephone button to activate the speakerfone. Try updating the Radio stack from the XDA / O2 website to improve the reception.. otherwise its probably down to your service provider ot increase the signal.
Sergie - dont worry about 2005. Its a standalone product. Forget about it as it wont run on the handset... ony XDA executive and some other top end-stuff. In my humble opinion, it's just a way for Microsoft to screw ppl for extra money.
Scorpion - you need to speak to your mobile phone service provider for the specific settings (eg. O2) Try the XDA website for FAQs
Joe - have a look on eBay, proporta.com, or pdahut.com. The Piel Frama case is the Don but very pricey otherwise there are stacks of choices. Either aluminium/metal case, clear case, leather or flip leather.
Russ - I have no problems with bluetooth and i've not used puppetmaster... sorry dude
Airpirate - sorry don't know
Ton - yes a 2GB card should work. Its a (pocket) pc not a fone.
Olive - the software is too old
Caz - way to techie for me babe.. sorry
Jarhead You can’t use MP3 as a ringtone. You will havta convert it either to wav. or midi. There is loads of software floating around the web. Look for MP3 to wav converter or something. I’m currently using samsung’s music converter that came with the phone.
If you need anymore help, I’ll be glad to help!
Semper Fi,
Jeff
Asad Help:
From where can i download "DVD to Pocket PC" free ? anysite ?
preemic can any xda set play MP3 reply or help me plz
<unknown> Had this XDA for nearly a year now. Initially, it used to hang a few times a day. Then i deleted the "Connections" executable and was more stable but still seemed to hang more often than i would expect from a Microsoft device. When i upgraded to the latest ROM, i decided to change to Corporate mode. This has stabilised my device immensely and i have had no problems since. Of course, a soft reset around twice a week still needs to be done to get rid of little errors but the device as a whole does not hang any longer. I have TomTom Navigator installed and travelled 500 miles last weekend without a glitch. My advice: Only get one if you know what you are doing. This device is not for amateurs.
Scott I purchased the xda mini about 2 weeks ago. I think this phone is the best phone iv ever had! But iv nether had a pda before. There are loads of things you can do with this phone took me a while to get the hang of it though. in fact i am still getting the hang of it. In the past week i found LOADS of great software for it!Easy to install too. Just at first i didnt realise ya had to use active sync. I just tryed copying the files accross and opening them on the pda. obously it didnt work! I think iv had to hard reset about 4 times now. Mainly because i deleted things i shouldnt of have or because of rubish software that wouldnt uninstall properly. I have found it does hang sometimes and does completly crash even the on/off button wouldnt work. just removed the battery. One thing that annoyed me was i found that if i wanted a picture as my background when i opened the keyboard the picture disapeared and wouldnt come back! Best thing you can do is remove all the 02 software visit this website for a guide on how to do this http://www.avforums.com/forums...hp?p=2360081
its so much faster and stable once it is removed. It also solved my problem with having a picture as a background. Overall i would recommend this phone. I give the phone 9 out of 10 as for the o2 software -1 out of 10! oh yea i got tomtom on it too and it looks coo,l just havnt been able to use it yet as i am still waiting for my gps reciever.
Airpirate Good phone. Sometimes I can not hear the other person. After a reboot it works fine. Is there another program that is kicking the phone offline? I like the phone but I can not afford to miss calls.
Steven yeo i do like to have a O2 phone..Can anybody send me price list for all O2 pda phones in SGD...Thanks
devo i got this phone not long ago but facing problem
1:sometimes when the call was pick up i cant heard sounds from the other side
