Peter How does the call restriction work. When I set it to Names Only it retricts calls to only names saved in the phone. But when I switch the phone off then on I can no longer call names in the directory. All calls are restricted.

lance my first phone, ws bought in 1995 -500 usd!-, with a gold faceplate! I got sick of the color so I abused the warranty and changed it around 8 times, simply calling the helpline, saying the phone drops signal and they would dhl me a new one in the color i chose in the next 48 hours! too bad they didnt give me a new battery every time too... the last exchange i made -like a week before the warrantee expires- was in black. i knew i would keep it for eternity so i wouldnt be ashamed of showing a black phone to my kids
note that it had a major fault, it used to interfere with its own speaker!!!

Moo Oh yes, I had one of these also it was a prettier colour. Note the thickness - just 17mm, which made it the thinnest phone of its time. To be honest, it was a ugly phone and not really that nice to use, but it was my first GSM phone after using the old analogue TACS system.. GSM was so much better. I kept it for a couple of years and then got a StarTac instead.. a *much* sexier phone.
