<unknown> i was thinking about getting this phone. Is it worth while? because at the moment the reviews are 50/50 so i cant really make a decision. I currently have the Nokia 6101. Not a bad phone but it gets a bit boring after a while, doesnt have a music player and that kind of jazz. But the Samsung Z400 looks really nice and a very good phone. Please reply becuase i need to make a decision soon.
Thomas i dont see the point in having that many messages saved, mwhen charging mine the charge light goes off
confused.com whats the difference between the z400 and the z350. I wnet on a site new mobile and it came up that the z350 is new but it never said that for the z400 and they look virtually the same.
<unknown> I've taken a long time to make up my mind which phone to upgrade to after having a samsung E710 for two years ( which incidently never let me down )so I finally settled for the Z400 last week, and after my initial excitement with it's looks and features, was plunged into the depths of dispair when the battery ran out after what seemed like no time at all ! I contacted vodafone to enquire if there was a larger battery as I noticed that the phone had what was called a STANDARD battery fitted, but was told that no alternative one was availble!! However I was told that when not using the 3G facility I should reset the phone to GSM ( in network settings )which I've noticed does actually increase the battery life moderately, but still requires charging every couple of days.
I love the phone but It's like having a jag with a mini engine and so i'm seriously considering returning it within my 14 day trial period for something with a bit more beef.

To conserve the battery life turn the 3G off by going to Settings - Network Mode - then highlight GSM 900/1800. That way, you are not using UMTS (3G).
zak Display on my phone stays all the time on during charging. Anybody else has the same problem? Not a big deal but it annoys me at night.
<unknown> maybe you dont see the point but I have reasons for needing this amount of memory for texts!
