Emma I bought sharp Gx17 for #17,000 in Nigeria 3 days ago, infact is absolutely fantastic and amazing.
My complain is just that I can't share programs (ringing tones, pictures) with my friends with other different phones like Sagem, Sony Ericsson and so on, through (Infrared). Pls I wouldn't mind if there is anything you can do for me just rectify all these difficulties.
I will also like you to tell me how I can disfigure this Vodafone configuration on it, so to enable me to configure it for another GSM network.

yash hi i am yash from india. my brother bought this phone for me from australia .i was very exicted when i saw it .but when came to know about its very very little memory i.e only 1.8 mb i got very sad and returned back the phone.also there is no option of memory card.and also a poor sound quality, no music player, it is just a simple phone for office people and not for youth.
tidus this phone is great!!! i got it for 180 aussie dollars and i love it.
sure the camera inst megapixel but its the best vga camera i have seen. if you like value for money than this is the phone for you. it has it faults like lact of memory and u can use real tones but for the price i paid its the best phone on the market!

first, the phone have a small memory, not about menseges and contacts, but about sounds and images, second i have already download same games from net, and i like to pass them to the phone, but i can't...i think i need to download by wap...
i think that's are the unics problems of gx17, howrever gx17 have to much good things, like the camera are realy good for the price and the phone have a great menu and are easier to work with him...
could some one help me to pass .jar or .jad files to the phone or are impossible?thanks
rival I have this phone for about a month and a half. Bluetooth is working perfectly, i have a bluetooth adapter to connect it to a PC and it's great. It also connects to other phones. I still haven't found something bad with this phone. Everything is working.
niki I want to buy a phone but I don't know which..I like this one but I have doubts about it: the trasference of photos to a computer it's easy?; how many days battery keeps alive?; and about camera quality?is it good?
