Faraz J Karamat Siemens SL10/SL10d is still the best designed phone till this date. Its user friendly controls, excellent touch sensitive keys which remain hidden thanks to the proslide system and large screen were way ahead of their time. Unfortunately Siemens launched this amazingly designed phone way ahead of the time. The technology of that time could not match is designing. Had this phone been launched today it could have easily become the best phone in the histroy of mobile phones. An improved display like the one in Siemens SL45, predictive text and a "usable" IR port would have skyrocketed the phones sales. Even an MP3 player could have been easily been included in the phone. In short if siemens had relaunched SL10d with the same body design and concept but SL45/SL45i features and amber display, this black beauty could have distroyed the most of the other GSM mobiles.
