somewhere in the U.S Am a phone lover, had always been changing new phone once every 3-4 months but since purchasing this one in 2003 on my trip to HongKong, am still using it and it's been almost 2 years. Lisa Stafford I love the SL55, i had my phone for just under one year and have just upgraded for the SL65, but the 55 looks better and is smaller, yes i've had a few problems - i.e. it freezes but just leave it alone and it sorts itself out, probably the best phone i've had and i'm keeping it incase i don't like the SL65

Have to join the ranks of users that curse this phone for its faults. Had mine for around a year and it started turning off every time the slide was closed and keys were not working - estimated repair cost around USD 175 - no way! Will be looking out for the new Samsung E800 instead.

Oussama I baught Siemens SL55 from November 2005. I love it, I need no more. It hanged twice but I love it, sometimes it is slow, but I love it. It has a very little storage memory, it is not good, but I can manage and still love it. It is strong and cut.

ads i own the limited edition black sl55 since the past year and i'm very satisfied with it.
the battery life is adequate, the range and sound quality are both good. it seems pretty sturdy for a slide-phone and the slide works great even after i accidently dropped it a couple of times.
what is lacking is bluetooth and a 65K+ colours screen.
