Sim This phone was my 2nd mobile...its design was very pleasant but the internals very poor at least on the one I bought from Telstra....after 3 repairs and being replaced I consider the phone too fragile...for moderate to low usage ok
<unknown> I have the SL56 which is the Canadian version of this phone. I have been using it for approx 2 years now. I absolutly love this phone. The reception is gr8 but the sound quality could be better. I also must have droped this phone and it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. I love this phone and its cheap now of ebay
Andy Keypad too small, memory too small, battery life too short, screen too small, prone to break down, pretty to look at and small. I said after my last siemens that I wouldn't have another. I'm going back to Nokia, and the 02 coverage was terrible with this phone.
<unknown> most beautiful designed phone...ever. the design is so thoughtful & integrated. all other manufacturers follow the design & try to improve; but none can improve the design. the only culpit is the weak reception & the keys of any sl55 give up after 3-5 months.

Danna This is the worst phone I've ever had. Ive had it for 1 month, it is slowwwwwwwwww, messes up the numbers when you dial, terrible software... Im going back to nokia as soooon as I can. Never buying a siemens again..
angie I have had my siemens for a long time, this is a very strong phone. This phone has been through alot with me, it fell in about 7 inches of water, i dropped it over a 100 times, i dropped it so hard once the screen even cracked and phone continues to work without any problems at all. I am ready to change and get an up to date cell, but I feel I will never find another quality phone like the siemens SL55 because I've been through several phones and this one has lasted the longest.
Romulo Signal sucks!! Batery time even worse. lose calls al the time. Terrible display. the only good thing is that the batery recharges in less tha 1.5 hours
