Mau I'm sorry for you, You cannot change this sound. I try (and talk to sony-ericsson) to play midi files with media player and they say It's not posible. You can select midi files (very short files) to alarms but when time arrived melody doesnīt play. BAD PHONE
doki can the firmware used in k608i be used in k600i because i notices that the difference lies only in design between the two phones and the k608 has better/louder speaker.

creep this is better than c261..cuz of the video calling thing...
and far better than nokia 6030..but the 6021 is far better than the two..

Mau I use phone only to talk (not 3G services) and batery only lives 2 days. I have an Alcatel OT735 with camera and batery lives about !!!6 days!!!. I bougth K600 by telephone directy to mobil company and now I cannot change. Other thing in three times the k600i is power down alone (why?, I donīt know)
hipgnosys Been using the phone since Nov 05. it has never froze, never hangs, never disconnects calls, never does anything to make me dislike it. :) I do wish it had more built in memory for more mp3 storage. Now i am just waiting for my mobile carrier to upgrade to a 3G network. One question tho! When on hands free, the ring does not come in the ear phone. How can i fix it so that if it rings, i can hear on my headphones.

Nirban Its a really kool phone 2 hang wid though it has some disadvantage like low memory, no voice record during da call.
It has good sound and picture quality is great.
