Sony Ericsson K608 Review
nightlance Hands down, SE is the price-performance winner. The mix of features and the *price* leaves the competition in the dust. Good screen size and resolution, decent 1.3MP camera, bluetooth & IR connectivity, radio, organizer, and mp3 & 3G support.. A complete package because the cable and headphones are included. Nice! 32MB is good enough for me even without MMC support. Top that!!
paperbag bought a k610i 'bout 3 months ago. great features, easy to use, and very cheap for a 3g phone, but it just gets activated automatically for the 3g and unlike k600 or other se phones i found out it doesnt have the option to select gsm only. i have no network signal;cant send messages nor make calls for 2 weeks now...globe says they have a problem with the 3g and since i cant deactivate the 3g because there's no such option in the phone, have to wait till globe has the 3g glitch fixed bec the 3g interferes with the signal. i did see some users here saying they can deactivate the 3g..how do you guys do that?
rentot i bought ds phone yesterday.. its really great! the features are really good if u will think of its price...yet the small memory limits me to download many mp3s.. i hope theres a way to expand the memory

chen_j anybody here knows how to switch network from UMTS to Band(900/1800 or 1900)? having active 3G affects your battery life big time! I got this phone last week it came from SMART and all the internet settings also 3G were already active. dunno how to deactivate the 3G.
mel K608- No internal memory. The nice feature is the 3G only. I guess, this fone was built for affordabilty in terms of price- but not feature. You see, this is a new fone but the mpix camera was downgraded (1.3 mpix only). The back cover for the camera is just like that of the old K500i. I got w800 with 2mpix cam instead and find the feature far higher than this new K608.
popeye_mot would just like to know if the k608i is capable of GLOBE 3G FREE LIVE video streaming (like CNN, ABS-CBN, GMA7)...pls let me know..thanks

sijo haei guys... i bought this one week earlier.
i like all, but one thing , when I charge the phone it shows "charging", even after it reaches 100% .It never shows "battery full".
Is this a property of SE phones or is it a fault. I am using a SE for the first time.
