Stuart Good phone and i actually found the joystick quite good. My mates who have this fun have broken their joysticks but mine has lasted but when u get older start to get bit imbarassed with the phone im trying to buy a new one now.

loyalT610 Ive had this phone for 3 years and I'm still using it! I haven't experienced any major problem with it. Now, I want to change my phone so I want this one to break but no matter what, it still works great!
003 mob man I have the sony ericsson t610 and i am very impressed at the various amount of features this phone has. Its got a camera (0.1 megaxpixels) and although many people are dissapointed with this, im not! Its got bluetooth and infra red so you can connect to other users who have these features. Also this phone has a voice recorder, polyphonic ringtones, java games compatability and a 65k screen to name a few. This phone is a bit dated, but has many of the features of today's top phones. The ownly real downside is the 2mb memory

rocky I owned this phone for over 3 years now, I still own it and use it daily.
This phone is perfect if you want to call and sms and recieve one or two emails here and there or just check latest headlines with the WAP function (very slow)
The memory is only 2MB, there is room for everything but with constant deleting of older sms and pics, which could be annoying sometimes.
The camera is useless, this is after all one of the first ones out there which gave a running start for the newfounded SonyEricsson company.
The shell is plastic covered with thin layer of painted aluminium, the screen is imbedded under a glossy plastic see-through thing, gets easily dirty with fingerprints or whatever it comes in contact with.
Battery life is impressive in the beginning, it held over a week, sometimes two, now after 3+ years of use the same battery must be recharged every second day, reasonable.
It is really hard to brake, I am a rather tall guy and I dropped it a hundred times and slammed it and used it in very dusty and humid envoirments and it still works flawlessly. Dust do tends to easily get between the display and plastic cover, another annoyance.
This phone is history antique now, it used to be one of the best hehehe, soon uppgrading to W700i and putting my old companion to retirement or as a buckup, you never know...
Aru Im usin this cell for last one year. it doest giv me any problems.. Morethan thet i love it very much.. The problems i found in the cell is poor quality camera, num pad and low memory cap. Still it is too good in battery life and eas of usage..
Fawad Sheikh WOW, I am using this T610 since last 2 years and it appears to be a very good and reliable phone but one problem Signals got weak when you are in-side of buildings. Camera is not good at all, picture quality is poor.

aussie jen I've had this for just over 2 years and have not had a problem. Its a reliable little device and will most likely be handed over to my mum where it will kick on for another few years. As for the negative comments about the joystick, mine still works perfectly and ive never had any sort of software malfunctions. (ive even dropped it a few times and it still performs) I'll be sad to see it go!
